I am Hussain Alnajjar. I look after men's reproductive and sexual health.

Most of the men I see have been living with something for a while. Some have been trying for a child and have just been told there is no sperm in the sample. Some have found that what used to work has stopped working, and have quietly run out of things to try. Some have noticed a change, or a bend, or pain, and have not yet said it out loud to anyone.

None of it is easy to bring up. Most men arrive having read a great deal on their own and have been told very little by anyone else, and most have waited a long time before making the call.

There is one consultant in this practice. The person you meet at the first appointment is the person who sees you through whatever comes next. What I can offer on the day is an unhurried look at what is actually going on, and a plain account of the options.
